Identify the needs and objectives, focus on those needs in your community and write an application on designated month. Rotary Club, Rotaract Club, Charity Organizations please post your project news in "We The Rotarians". Please mention if your Club/organization wants to match the same amount of money to execute the project and mention the total amount of your project including the grant money. If more than one eligible application, the foundation will select the winners through an online lottery with the presence of all applicants If you want to distribute sewing machines or computers, please train people and mention the number of sewing machine/computer that you can buy with CAD $1000.00. Mention the type of machine/computer, old or new, brand name, HD, Processor etc. For sanitary toilet, please mention the type of material and design of the toilet.

GRANTS AMOUNT

Each Grant amount is CAD $1000.00 one thousand Canadian Dollar.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Describe the cost of your project, location, how, when and where will the project be implemented.

How many people, family, area, community will be benefited from the project and write about the sustainability.

Provide a photo of that area, community or school where you want to implement the project.

A short summary of your project that details how the project meets the selection criteria.

MUST INCLUDE NOTABLE DETAILS

Submissions should be clear and concise how the project has met the above criteria.

Only complete applications will be accepted as per criteria given above.

Nominate for a Free Press Education Award: 2023

lhfc Free Press Education Award has been established to recognize the important role of Journalists and

Media Professionals who have shown a strong commitment to the cause of press freedom and the provision of independent information. lhfc will honor an extraordinary journalists and media professionals who continue to do their job through tough situations around the world.

 


Selection Criteria

·   To be eligible for this award the nominee should be active as a journalist for minimum of ten years.

·   This award recognizes Journalist who has made a significant contribution in his/her profession.

·   This award recognize journalist who have a strong commitment with freedom of press & independent information.

·   The award wants to honor journalist who went into dangerous and risky situations to bring us the news.

·   The award honor the media pioneers who pave the way for equality and justice and those who continue under the most difficult circumstances.

·   Must be an active Journalist and engage in any Newspaper, TV, Blog/ Website, Social Media etc.   

 

Nomination Guidelines

The following must be submitted to nominate a candidate for this award.

·   Nominations can be made by any colleague, friend, and employer, Rotary Club and Charity Organization.

Nominate for a Primary Teacher Award: 2023

lhfc  Award has been established to recognize the important role of Primary Teachers who provide exceptional care

 

With expression, meaningful gratitude, love & hope will influence them to serve better and dedicated in Teaching

 

Please nominate an extraordinary Teacher who has influence and contributions in Primary Education

 

AWARD CATEGORY

This Award consists of a certificate and a monetary award (CAD $1000.00 one thousand Canadian dollar).

·   To be eligible for this award the nominee should be active as a Teacher for minimum ten years.

·   The award recognizes Teacher who has made a significant contribution in Basic Education.

·   This award honors those advocating for positive change in Primary Education.

·   This award wants to honor who has extraordinary contributions in Primary Education.

·   This award wants to honor who has extraordinary impact in providing support or care for the children

 

You can now nominate a Primary Teacher for who you think deserves to be awarded. The nominations is open now and will close on February 28, 2023.
